In Vietnam, 93% of businesses have implemented at least one AI tool to communicate with and engage customers, demonstrating a high level of readiness to embrace technological innovation. At the Meta Marketing Summit 2025 on May 8th, Meta officially introduced a series of new AI solutions to support Vietnamese businesses in expanding their growth potential in the digital economy .
Benjamin Joe, Vice President for Southeast Asia at Meta, stated: “Vietnamese consumers are setting a new global standard in the application of AI in daily life. Specifically, 15% of Vietnamese consumers said they use AI to find shopping ideas for the holiday season, the highest rate among the markets surveyed. This not only demonstrates a high level of consumer readiness for innovation but also opens up significant opportunities for businesses to build personalized experiences based on AI. With a young, dynamic population and a rapidly developing economy, I believe Vietnam has enormous potential to become a leading nation in harnessing the power of AI for business growth and innovation.”
Meta's latest AI solutions for Vietnamese businesses include:
Opportunity Score: A new tool that helps businesses evaluate and optimize advertising campaign effectiveness in near real-time directly within Ads Manager. Additionally, the Advantage+ Leads Campaigns feature generates leads, helping businesses reduce costs per customer by 14% in initial trials.
Advantage+ Sales Campaigns: Thanks to AI optimization, this feature has seen a 70% increase in usage compared to the same period last year, demonstrating a clear effectiveness in improving business results.
Transfer with Your Payment App: This new feature allows customers to pay directly within Messenger through popular Vietnamese banking and e-wallet apps such as Techcombank and MoMo. This feature transforms Messenger into a complete e-commerce channel, helping businesses increase customer satisfaction, reduce churn, and improve conversion rates.
As of Q4 2024, more than 4 million advertisers globally were using at least one AI-powered ad creation tool provided by Meta. A new study conducted in early 2024 showed that advertisers in the Asia- Pacific region achieved an average return on advertising spend (ROAS) of $3.47 for every $1 spent on Meta's platform, a 15% increase compared to 2022. These figures demonstrate the growing value of Meta's proven AI solutions in improving marketing effectiveness.
Also at the event, Meta announced the launch of its own Meta AI app, a separate AI application running on the Llama 4 model, opening up a more personalized AI experience. Users can now chat seamlessly with Meta AI within a dedicated app, with a Discover Feed feature allowing them to explore and share commands to support their creative process. Meta AI has been deeply and seamlessly integrated across WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook, Instagram, and the web version, making it easy for users to use the AI assistant anytime, anywhere they need it.
