Pharmacity and Opella signed a strategic cooperation agreement - Pioneering the trend of proactive healthcare.

In the context of increasing awareness of "prevention is better than cure", people's proactive use of over-the-counter (OTC) drugs, vitamins and minerals (FMCH) is becoming an inevitable trend. This trend not only helps improve personal health and quality of life but also plays an important role in reducing the burden on the national health system, especially in the face of challenges of population aging and chronic diseases.

Under the cooperation agreement, Pharmacity and Opella will focus on two main pillars. First, the two parties will coordinate to deploy comprehensive communication campaigns to disseminate knowledge about proactive healthcare, helping people understand correctly and choose appropriate solutions. Second, an in-depth training program will be built to improve the capacity and professional knowledge of Pharmacity's team of more than 4,000 pharmacists.

Improving the capacity of pharmacists at pharmacies - the closest medical touchpoint to people - is of strategic significance. Pharmacists are not only product suppliers, but also a reliable source of initial medical advice, helping to screen and guide people in using products safely, contributing to the goal of universal health care.

Ms. Valentina Belcheva, General Director of Opella Vietnam and Cambodia, said that this cooperation will contribute to promoting the trend of self-health care, for a healthier Vietnam. For his part, Mr. Deepanshu Mandan, General Director of Pharmacity, committed to strictly complying with good practice standards (GPP), while coordinating to promote community education activities, bringing high-quality health care services to the people.

The cooperation between two large enterprises is expected to create an effective model, demonstrating the proactive role of the private sector in joining hands with the health sector to realize national health goals.
