Practicing democracy, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people

(CT) - In the 2024-2029 term, the Hung Phu Ward Front coordinated to organize 174 meetings with voters of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels. Thereby, more than 5,330 opinions and recommendations of voters were received, explained, and considered for resolution by competent authorities.

At regular meetings of the Ward People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Ward Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee synthesizes opinions, recommendations and pressing issues of the people and sends them to the Ward People's Council and People's Committee for competent authorities to consider and resolve according to regulations, contributing to improving the efficiency of the local government apparatus. In addition, the Front participates in direct dialogues between the heads of Party committees and authorities with the people; has received 162 opinions, with 185 contents recorded and resolved by competent authorities.

In addition, during the term, the Ward Front chaired 77 supervision meetings, focusing on issues directly related to the interests of the people. At the same time, it organized 12 social criticism conferences, contributing opinions to draft reports and resolutions of the People's Council at the same level. These opinions help the drafting agencies to perfect the documents, ensuring that the policies issued are consistent with the reality and aspirations of the people.
