Implementing the Master Plan for construction of Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone, Tay Ninh province until 2045

The plan was issued to implement the Master Plan for the construction of Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone, Tay Ninh province until 2045 according to a specific plan and roadmap to ensure the development goal of Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone to become: A new dynamic region, an economic growth pole with regional and international competitiveness; an important trade hub in the Southeast region, the Southern key economic region, between Vietnam and Cambodia and the ASEAN region; a center for border gate services, international container transit ports and logistics services; a center for finance, trade and land border services in the Southeast region and to attract investment, investment in building economic zones; ensuring national defense and security goals, developing border trade economy, socio-economic development; ensure synchronous and harmonious connection with the urban space of the economic zone and neighboring areas, creating an overall border economic zone with industrial - urban - tourist functions with its own characteristics of Tay Ninh province, the Southeast region and the whole country.

Implementing the Master Plan for construction of Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone, Tay Ninh province until 2045

The contents of the Plan include:

1. Organize the establishment, adjustment and approval of zoning plans, detailed plans, urban designs, architectural management regulations, investment projects for the construction of technical infrastructure frameworks in the Economic Zone in accordance with regulations, ensuring compliance with construction planning standards, other relevant standards, compliance with laws on urban planning, construction, land, investment and other relevant laws and regulations, ensuring consistency and conformity with the approved Master Plan for the construction of Moc Bai Border Gate Economic Zone to 2045.

2. Deploy the establishment, adjustment and approval of zoning plans, detailed plans, urban designs, and architectural management regulations in economic zones. Complete the establishment and promulgation of zoning plans and detailed plans for border gate areas and industrial zones in the period up to 2035, including: border areas and border gates in economic zones for protection, management, investment, construction and development in compliance with national defense and security regulations; industrial park and warehouse development areas; industrial - urban - service development areas; urban development areas, new urban areas, residential areas; tourism service development areas; existing agricultural and rural residential areas. - Zoning plan for Moc Bai international border gate area, Moc Bai border gate economic zone; scale of about 236.55 ha (including 222.73 ha of border gate functional land; 13.82 ha of national defense and security land; dry port scale of 17 ha), scope determined according to the scope of the border gate in Resolution No. 78/NQ-CP dated September 5, 2016 of the Government.

- Detailed planning of Cay Me sub-border gate, Moc Bai border gate economic zone; scale of about 63 hectares, scope determined according to the scope of the border gate area in the decision issued by the Provincial People's Committee.

- Detailed planning of Long Thuan sub-border gate, Moc Bai border gate economic zone; scale of about 65 hectares, scope determined according to the scope of the border gate area in the decision issued by the Provincial People's Committee.

- Detailed planning of Phuoc Chi sub-border gate, Moc Bai border gate economic zone; scale of about 88 hectares, scope determined according to the scope of the border gate area in the decision issued by the Provincial People's Committee.

- Detailed planning of dry port area 02, Moc Bai border gate economic zone, Tay Ninh province; scale of about 27 hectares.

- Zoning plan for logistics area, Moc Bai border gate economic zone; scale of about 180-190 hectares.

In addition, regarding the mechanisms and policies related to implementing priority investment projects, Tay Ninh will implement the mechanisms and policies issued by the Central Government; Issue programs and plans to implement priority investment projects; resettlement, compensation and site clearance policies to implement priority investment projects. Research and invest in ecological agricultural models associated with community tourism; attract investment in exploiting service and tourism clusters along the Vam Co Dong River. Focus on research and development in key areas to create economic development momentum: Building logistics zones, developing packaging industry, completing export products; service and tourism zones in the area adjacent to the Vam Co Dong River. Invest in infrastructure of new urban areas, key driving projects of economic zones, national programs (housing, social housing; urban environment improvement programs, prioritizing production projects, industries that do not affect the environment)./.
