Comprehensive, synchronous and effective implementation of mass mobilization work

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung suggested that all levels and sectors in Ha Tinh need to raise awareness, pay due attention to, and comprehensively, synchronously, and effectively implement mass mobilization work to contribute to the successful fulfillment of the province's political tasks.

On the morning of December 27th, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department held a conference to summarize mass mobilization work in 2023 and to implement tasks for 2024.

Tran The Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Dinh Hai, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department; Tran Nhat Tan, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and Le Ngoc Chau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, attended the conference.

The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, Truong Thanh Huyen, and the Deputy Heads, Nguyen Hai Nam and Nguyen Thi Mai Thuy.

In 2023, the mass mobilization work of the political system in Ha Tinh continued to show positive changes and achieved important results. The awareness and responsibility of organizations within the political system towards mass mobilization work were enhanced.

Party committees at all levels have focused on thoroughly understanding and promptly implementing the Party's directives and mass mobilization work in line with the realities of the province and localities; continuing to concretize the motto "The people know, the people discuss, the people do, the people inspect, the people supervise, and the people benefit" in managing and organizing the implementation of tasks.

The "Effective Mass Mobilization" emulation movement has been focused on innovation and improvement in quality and effectiveness. In 2023, the entire province developed 1,743 "Effective Mass Mobilization" models, including nearly 250 exemplary models and best practices with many innovative and effective approaches, specific locations, and practical results in various aspects of social life, contributing to building a clean and strong Party and political system.

Propaganda and mobilization efforts among religious communities and people in remote areas have been given attention, making an important contribution to stabilizing security and order and building national unity.

The Fatherland Front and mass organizations have paid attention to doing a good job of disseminating information and mobilizing the people, bringing the Party and State's guidelines and policies into life; effectively fulfilling the function of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members and all strata of the people; and gradually fulfilling the function of social supervision and criticism, building a clean and strong Party and government.

Social welfare work has been given attention and effectively mobilized to care for vulnerable groups in society. To date, the "Fund to support high-achieving students from disadvantaged backgrounds to attend university" has supported 305 students; and construction continues on 9 community cultural centers and more than 2,200 solid houses for war veterans, poor households, households with difficult circumstances, and households affected by natural disasters...

Mass mobilization work has made a significant contribution to helping Ha Tinh promote democracy and the strength of the great national unity to successfully achieve the goals and tasks of socio-economic development and ensure national defense and security; the people's trust in the Party continues to be consolidated and strengthened.

In 2024, mass mobilization work will focus on key tasks such as: Continuing to direct and effectively implement the Party's guidelines and resolutions on mass mobilization work; strengthening leadership and guidance in building and replicating "effective mass mobilization" models in the new situation; and paying attention to directing the improvement of the effectiveness of mass mobilization work in state agencies and governments at all levels.

At the same time, it is necessary to innovate the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and political and social organizations in a focused and targeted manner, closely aligned with the political requirements and tasks of the province and adapting to each period; effectively implement propaganda and mobilization work to encourage religious followers to strictly adhere to the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws...

Delivering a keynote address at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung affirmed that mass mobilization work is increasingly receiving attention from all levels and sectors, making an important contribution to the implementation of political tasks and the achievement of the province's economic and social development targets.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that, in the coming period, mass mobilization work needs to be given due attention, properly understood, and implemented more comprehensively, synchronously, and effectively. Localities and units need to review coordination regulations, strengthen information exchange and gathering to promptly advise the Party committees and authorities on mass mobilization work.

Emphasis should be placed on mass mobilization work in construction, promoting the effectiveness of the "One-Stop Shop" model, social supervision and criticism; innovating methods of grassroots mediation; effectively implementing grassroots democracy regulations at the local level, in agencies and units, focusing on resolving outstanding issues, especially those related to land and land clearance for large projects in the area; and strengthening dialogue between the heads of Party committees and government with the people.

Regarding the "Effective Mass Mobilization" model, it needs to be developed in a practical, sustainable, and widespread manner. Mass mobilization work related to religion must be implemented harmoniously and effectively, contributing to building national unity; emphasis should be placed on propaganda, mobilization, and ensuring security and order in remote, mountainous, and border areas.
