Attending the meeting were the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Y Ngoc; the Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee: Nguyen Ngoc Sam, Tran Phuoc Hien, Nguyen Cong Hoang, Do Tam Hien; leaders of departments, agencies, members of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant localities.
Based on reports from departments, agencies, and localities, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyen Hoang Giang, requested that departments, agencies, and localities conduct a comprehensive review and assessment of projects and works temporarily suspended according to Prime Minister 's Directive No. 68/CĐ-TTg dated May 20, 2025, to consider the conditions for continued implementation. For projects that are still needed, continued investment and completion are necessary to maximize the effectiveness of allocated capital and avoid wasting resources. Implementation must be linked to the requirements for adjusting functions and scale appropriately after the administrative unit reorganization.
Regarding the report proposing support measures to ensure stable livelihoods and production for households receiving land allocation for orchards affected by land acquisition for the Western Main Road Project in Kon Tum City, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant agencies and units to continue reviewing the legal basis, fully assessing the impact, and ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of the people before advising the competent authority to consider and decide.
Regarding the policy of halting land-use development projects for infrastructure development in the western part of the province, including the Land-Use Development Project for the Southern Residential Area Ring Road of Kon Tum City, section from Ho Chi Minh Highway to Kon Klor Suspension Bridge - Phase II, and the Land-Use Development Project for the Northern Residential Area Ring Road of Kon Tum City, section from Tran Phu Street to Kon Klor Suspension Bridge - Phase II, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested relevant agencies to comprehensively assess the investment efficiency, legal basis, and solutions for any arising issues in order to advise the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision in accordance with regulations.
Regarding the plan for implementing projects to repair damaged roadbeds and surfaces on sections Km76+800 - Km77+154 and Km111+980 - Km112+300 of National Highway 24, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to urgently develop a specific implementation plan; the Department of Finance is to advise on the allocation of funds to ensure that the projects are implemented early, meeting the needs of people's travel and goods transportation.
Regarding the project "Organization of backlog archival documents at the district level in the two provinces of Kon Tum and Quang Ngai (formerly), giai đoạn 2027 - 2033", the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Internal Affairs to review, supplement, and finalize the project, ensuring no duplication of archival documents, efficient use of resources, and meeting the requirements for managing and exploiting documents in the future.
