According to RT, the Russia-US summit between President Putin and President Trump took place at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, at 11:30 a.m. in Alaska (local time).

The talks between Russian President Putin and US leader Donald Trump were attended by close aides. Accordingly, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Mr. Yuri Ushakov, the Russian President's foreign policy advisor, attended the conference with Mr. Putin while US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff joined President Trump.

After a meeting lasting more than two and a half hours, the two Russian and American leaders held a press conference to announce the results of the Conference.
Speaking at a press conference, President Vladimir Putin described the talks as "constructive and useful", held in an atmosphere of "mutual respect".
"Russia is genuinely interested in ending the Ukrainian conflict and ensuring a lasting solution to the Ukrainian problem," Putin said, adding that Moscow hoped European countries would not create obstacles or try to disrupt the planned process.
President Putin hopes that the agreements with Mr Trump will pave the way for peace in the Ukraine conflict and he thanked President Trump for the frank tone of their conversation.
Meanwhile, President Trump began his speech by stating that the talks between him and President Putin were "extremely productive", discussing many issues, but the two sides did not reach any agreement, adding that more needs to be done to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
Mr. Trump stressed that the two sides had made significant progress and affirmed that he had a very good relationship with President Putin.
The US leader stressed that the most important thing is that they have a good chance of achieving peace and he expressed hope to meet Mr Putin again soon. "Russian President Putin wants to end this conflict as much as I do," he said.

Before the talks, the White House called the meeting between Mr. Trump and Mr. Putin a "historic" event when posting on social media a photo of the two leaders walking together on the red carpet on the runway.
President Putin invited Mr Trump to Moscow for the next round of talks, and President Trump replied that it “could happen”.
The two presidents left the press conference room after making their statements without answering any questions from the media.
