Based on the above regulations and water levels, the company will discharge water through the reservoir's spillway at 2:00 p.m. on October 21, with a discharge flow of 160 m³/second. At that time, the total amount of water discharged downstream is expected to fluctuate between 910 and 980 m³/second.
Depending on weather developments, lake water levels and downstream water levels at Bien Hoa hydrological station, Tri An Hydropower Company will adjust the discharge flow appropriately to ensure the safety of the project and downstream areas.
The company recommends that local authorities and people in the downstream area of Dong Nai River closely monitor flood discharge information, proactively take preventive measures, and ensure safety for people and property.
Tri An Hydropower Plant is the largest hydropower project in the South, built on the Dong Nai River, in Tri An Commune. In addition to its main task of generating electricity, the project also plays an important role in regulating water resources, reducing floods downstream, ensuring water resources for daily life, agricultural and industrial production for the provinces in the Southeast region.
