Mr. Le Tri Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, said that based on practical experience, the Fatherland Front recommends that the city continue to improve the decentralization mechanism associated with corresponding resources; issue policies to stabilize prices and support businesses affected by natural disasters; strengthen supervision of planning, social housing, development in mountainous areas and the progress of disbursing public investment capital. At the same time, he requested the city to pay attention to developing digital infrastructure, supplementing human resources for local facilities, investing in education , healthcare and disaster prevention and control institutions.

In light of the damage caused by recent floods, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (MTTQ) proposes that the Da Nang City People's Committee allocate funds for repairing transportation infrastructure and embankments to prevent landslides in key areas; and study the construction of resettlement areas in mountainous, riverside, and coastal regions to stabilize the lives of the people. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen rescue resources, review the disaster warning mechanism and hydropower plant operation procedures, and widely consult with affected groups before adjusting policies.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front also proposed prioritizing investment in urban drainage projects and researching solutions to convert acacia trees to long-lived timber trees in densely populated areas, workplaces, and hilly areas along transportation routes to limit landslides; gradually moving towards restoring natural forests and planted forests in the mountainous areas of the city, and involving people in mountainous areas in caring for, managing, and protecting headwater forests, ensuring stable income. This would contribute to minimizing the damage caused by natural disasters and achieving sustainable development goals.

Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, requested that from now until Tet (Lunar New Year), the entire political system should focus on effectively implementing social welfare work; taking care of the lives of war veterans, policy beneficiaries, poor households, and families affected by natural disasters. At the same time, the city will strengthen market control, stabilize prices, ensure food safety, and organize practical and safe cultural and social activities to create a joyful atmosphere for the people.
Mr. Le Ngoc Quang emphasized the need to effectively implement the Quang Trung Campaign as directed by the Prime Minister, with the goal of completing the repair of damaged houses before December 31, 2025, and completing the construction of new houses before January 31, 2026, so that all families affected by floods have a safe and warm place to live during Tet.
In the long term, Da Nang City is reviewing the issues arising from the recent floods, especially the challenge of adapting to climate change in flood-prone, coastal, and mountainous areas. Da Nang will develop a long-term resettlement plan for people in high-risk areas, and at the same time consider changing the crop structure to suit the environment, reduce the risk of landslides, and ensure sustainable livelihoods.
Simultaneously, the city requested a review of the operating procedures of hydropower and irrigation projects and a reassessment of the planning for small and medium-sized hydropower plants in the Central and Central Highlands regions to find fundamental solutions that meet practical requirements and the expectations of voters.
