The program received 700 million VND donated by a business in Ho Chi Minh City to students who overcame difficulties and studied well in Go Cong in the 2 school years 2023 - 2024 and 2024 - 2025.
Each scholarship is worth 12 million VND and school supplies for 1 year (from September 2023 to August 2024).
The donors sponsored the Go Cong Town Education Promotion Association and the Go Cong Town Youth Union.
At the ceremony, the program awarded 18 scholarships (worth 12 million VND/scholarship and school supplies) to 18 students at primary, secondary and university levels in Go Cong.
According to Mr. Ho Thanh Son, Chairman of the Go Cong Town Association for the Promotion of Education: the scholarship model "Promoting education, promoting talents - Reaching for the future" will sponsor students, each year 12 million VND and learning tools.
After 1 year of study, the program will continue to review and award scholarships for the following year if students are qualified. The scholarships will be awarded until students complete their studies.
