On the afternoon of May 13, in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province led by Mr. Phan Dinh Trac, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, had a meeting with voters before the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

The meeting attracted a large number of voters who are officials and civil servants working in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province.

Here, the National Assembly Delegation of Lam Dong province reported to voters the main contents of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly; an overview of the socio-economic situation in the first quarter of 2024 of the whole country; the socio-economic situation in the first 4 months and anti-corruption work in the first quarter of 2024 of Lam Dong province.

At the meeting, many voters agreed with the difficulties that Lam Dong province is facing, and at the same time recommended the early implementation of synchronous solutions to call for investment for the locality; and have more mechanisms and policies for cadres who dare to think and dare to do.

Some voters recommended that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation give opinions to the central ministries and branches to soon have solutions to overcome current limitations and shortcomings such as: expanding the list of drugs covered by health insurance, especially drugs for treating serious illnesses; needing measures to strictly manage mobile subscribers to prevent phone fraud; having policies to pay more attention and treat communal-level officials and non-professional officials; strengthening the work of preventing and combating corruption, resolutely recovering assets for the State...

After voters presented their petitions, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Vo Ngoc Hiep explained a number of issues related to local jurisdiction.

In his concluding remarks at the meeting with voters, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac highly appreciated voters’ opinions on the groups of issues; at the same time, he said that the Delegation recorded all voters’ opinions to submit to the National Assembly in the upcoming session.

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity has been resolutely carried out by the Central Government with a series of major cases brought to trial.

Cases are guaranteed to be tried for the right person, the right crime, to recover assets for the State and victims, and to apply mitigating circumstances, demonstrating the humanity of the law, the Party and the State.
