Looking for young screenwriters through the image of crickets

Inspired by the famous character De Men in Vietnamese literature, Literature and Arts Times and CinePlus have just organized the contest "Composing with De" with participants including primary, secondary and high school students from 6 to 16 years old, who can compete in groups or individually.

The contest format is diverse, from short stories, comics, manga, webtoons to videos and self-narrated recordings, thereby encouraging the imagination and creativity of young readers.

The content of the new work is not limited, it can be the adventurous journey of De Men in the challenging world of insects, thereby sending a meaningful message about friendship and courage. In addition, the interweaving of perspectives on the reality of life is also encouraged, hoping to arouse the passion for literature and art of the young generation, find new talents, and enrich the "territory" for children that has been occupied by the pens of adults.

Regarding the awards, in addition to the annual summary, each month the competition will have 1 winning prize and 4 scripts will be adapted into animated films or short videos by CinePlus. This producer previously introduced the 3D animated film De Men: Adventure to the Swamp Village (photo) inspired by the classic work De Men Adventures by writer To Hoai, scheduled to be released this summer.
