
The competition is organized by the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology in collaboration with EvvoLab, Singapore, under the professional patronage of the National Cyber Security Association (NCA).
Digital Dragons: The Cybersecurity Challenge is a competition for university students nationwide who are passionate about information technology and information security.
DDC 2025 attracted 146 teams with 573 contestants from many prestigious universities such as Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Cryptography Technical Academy, University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), Ho Chi Minh City University of Information Technology (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology,FPT University, Duy Tan University, VKU…
Following the preliminary round, 25 outstanding teams from 16 universities advanced to the final round and competed directly.
In the final round, the competing teams conquered a variety of challenges, from web application penetration, network analysis, advanced cryptography, binary mining, reverse engineering techniques to realistic cybersecurity scenarios…

In the end, the CyberCh1ck team from the Academy of Cryptography Engineering ( Hanoi ) excellently won first prize; the UIT.The Lost Beyond team from the University of Information Technology (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City) won second prize; and the Ruby Chan team from the Academy of Cryptography Engineering's branch in Ho Chi Minh City won third prize.
In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 Encouragement prizes, numerous promising awards and supplementary prizes; the Most Popular Video Media award went to the VSL.0utl4w (VKU) team. The total prize value of DDC 2025 is nearly 40 million VND.
Dr. Tran The Son, Vice Rector of the Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, believes that the competition is not only an opportunity for students to showcase their talents and creativity, but also an important step in raising awareness and knowledge about information security in the community.
The competition is an opportunity for students to learn more about the field of information security; it helps students hone their skills, expand their knowledge, and discover groundbreaking solutions in protecting information security.
As part of DDC 2025, a Cybersecurity Workshop was held, providing many valuable academic experiences for students and the technology community.
