DDC 2025 attracted 146 teams with 573 contestants from many prestigious universities such as Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Academy of Cryptography, University of Technology (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), Ho Chi Minh City University of Information Technology (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology,FPT University, Duy Tan University, VKU...
After the preliminary round, 25 excellent teams from 16 universities entered the final round and competed directly.
In the final round, the teams conquered many challenges from web application penetration, network analysis, advanced cryptography, binary exploitation, reverse engineering to realistic simulated cybersecurity scenarios...

In the end, CyberCh1ck team from the Academy of Cryptography ( Hanoi ) won the first prize; UIT.The Lost Beyond team from the University of Information Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University) won the second prize; Ruby Chan team, Academy of Cryptography in Ho Chi Minh City branch won the third prize.
In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 5 Encouragement prizes, many promising prizes and subsidiary prizes; the Most Favorite Video Communication prize went to team VSL.0utl4w (VKU). The total prize value of DDC 2025 is nearly 40 million VND.
Dr. Tran The Son, Vice Principal of Vietnam - Korea University of Information Technology and Communications, said that the contest is not only an opportunity for students to show their talent and creativity, but also an important step in raising awareness and knowledge of information security in the community.
