On the morning of June 2nd, authorities found the body of PST (born in 2008, residing in Song Luy commune, Lam Dong province), the victim who went missing after being swept away by the water while swimming in the river with friends on the afternoon of May 31st.
According to initial information, the victim's body was found approximately 1 km from the accident site. After bringing the body ashore, authorities carried out the necessary procedures and handed it over to the family for burial.
Earlier, on the afternoon of May 31st, T and two friends went to the Ben Thuong area in Hoa Binh village, Song Luy commune to play and swim in the river. Around 4 PM that same day, the two friends got ashore first, while T remained in the river and was unfortunately swept away by the current and went missing.
Upon receiving the report, the Song Luy Commune Police, in coordination with other functional forces and local residents, promptly deployed search and rescue operations. The Fire and Rescue Team, along with volunteer teams, mobilized jet skis and expanded the search area along the Song Luy River.
After nearly two days of intensive searching, authorities found the victim's body on the morning of June 2nd.
