Tottenham welcomes new player from Bayern
Tottenham have agreed to sign Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich with an option to buy for €30 million ($32.7 million) at the end of the season, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. The London club will also pay the Portuguese international's entire salary.
Palhinha is expected to fly to London soon for a medical . The 30-year-old midfielder is no stranger to the Premier League, having previously played for Fulham. Before moving to Germany to join Bayern for a fee of 56 million euros ($61.1 million), he was a mainstay in the Craven Cottage team's midfield.
PSG part ways with Skriniar
Fenerbahce have confirmed the signing of Milan Skriniar from PSG for a fee of around €10 million ($10.9 million). The Slovakian centre-back has signed a four-year contract with the Turkish club.
Skriniar is on the list of nearly 10 players who have no future at PSG. In the second half of last season, he played for Fenerbahce on loan and played 23 matches, scoring 3 goals.
Man City parted ways with Txiki Begiristain
Man City's homepage announced that they have parted ways with Director of Football Txiki Begiristain after 13 years of service. The decision was planned by him since last summer, so it is not surprising.
Begiristain was a close teammate of Pep Guardiola at Barcelona. During the 2003–2010 period, he held the role of Technical Director at Camp Nou and was instrumental in paving the way for Guardiola to begin his coaching career. Southampton refused to sell Dibling for more than 30 million euros
According to Sky Sports, Southampton have rejected an offer of nearly 32 million euros ($34.9 million) from Everton for young talent Tyler Dibling. The Saints will only consider selling if they receive more than 100 million euros ($109 million).
However, multiple sources say Southampton could negotiate if the price falls to around €45 million (around $49 million). At 19, Dibling has become a mainstay in midfield, playing 33 Premier League games last season and scoring twice for England's under-21 team.
PSG close in on centre-back Ilya Zabarnyi
Fabrizio Romano says PSG are close to signing Bournemouth centre-back Ilya Zabarnyi. The two sides are only negotiating the payment structure, after Zabarnyi reached a personal agreement with PSG in May.
Zabarnyi, 22, joined Bournemouth from Dynamo Kyiv in the winter of 2023 on a five-and-a-half-year contract that has been extended until 2029. He has 49 caps for Ukraine and has missed just three games in the last two Premier League seasons.
Brentford "headache" because Wissa puts pressure to leave
According to Sky Sports, striker Yoane Wissa and his agent will meet with Brentford's board to express his desire to leave the club. The 28-year-old player is said to have missed several training sessions to pressure a transfer.
Wissa wants to play in the Champions League. Newcastle and Tottenham are two teams closely following the Congo striker.
