The contest is expected to take place from March 2025 to the end of August 2025 on the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission's Reporter Information Portal at https://baocaovien.vn , divided into 2 rounds.
Phase 1, takes place over 3 weeks. Week 1 from March 8, 2025 to March 15, 2025. Week 2 from March 16, 2025 to March 22, 2025. Week 3 from March 23, 2025 to March 29, 2025.
The closing ceremony and award ceremony of the first round of the Competition is expected to take place in mid-April 2025, within the framework of an event in a series of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Phase 2 is held from May 2025 to August 2025 (chaired by the Central Secretariat of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and has a separate plan).
Exam content: Vietnamese history from 1945 to present, focusing on the process of building, protecting and developing the country under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam . Key historical events in the struggle for independence and national reunification, especially the developments, results, significance, and lessons learned from the resistance war against the US to save the country, focusing on the General Offensive and Uprising in the spring of 1975 with the great victory of the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign and the significance of national reunification.
Achievements in all fields over 50 years of building and developing the country, including the great contributions of Ho Chi Minh City, an important strategic location, a symbol of revolutionary heroism, dynamism, creativity, and innovation; the Party and State's policies on building and developing Ho Chi Minh City in the new period. Major orientations in the leadership and direction of the Party and General Secretary To Lam to bring the country into a new era, an era of rising up of the Vietnamese people.
The award structure includes 10 collective awards, each worth 10,000,000 VND.
Individual prizes: 01 First prize, worth 10,000,000 VND; 02 Second prizes, each worth 5,000,000 VND; 03 Third prizes, each worth 3,000,000 VND; 05 Consolation prizes, each worth 1,000,000 VND,
At the end of the competition, the Organizing Committee will announce the results of the winning individuals on the Reporter's General Information Website (baocaovien.vn).
