Screen stripes are not a new phenomenon. In recent times, this problem has affected smartphone models using AMOLED screens from many manufacturers, such as Samsung, OnePlus or Apple, etc.
As of now, there is no official conclusion on the cause of the screen stripes on the phone. Some users say this problem appears randomly, while others blame software updates.
Understanding this inconvenience and expense, Samsung India launched a free screen replacement support program last year. Initially, the program was expected to end by the end of 2024. However, according to the latest information from the company's support channels, the deadline for users to request free screen replacement has been extended to September 30, 2025.
Although the official list of devices eligible for this extension has not been widely announced, it is likely that they will still be familiar models such as the entire Galaxy S21 series (S21, S21+, S21 Ultra), Galaxy S21 FE and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
However, users need to be aware of some important conditions. According to the original policy (and it is likely to still apply), customers will be exempted from the cost of the screen panel, but will still have to pay for the replacement labor. In addition, presenting the original purchase invoice at Samsung authorized warranty centers will be a mandatory requirement to enjoy the service.
