On the evening of December 6, at the Vietnam Military History Museum (Hanoi), the General Department of Politics - Ministry of National Defense coordinated with the Central Youth Union to organize the art exchange program "March of the Times" and award prizes for the Contest to learn about the tradition of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day; and to honor outstanding cadres and youth union members in the period 2017 - 2024.
The contest to learn about the tradition of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day was deployed by the Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union to 100% of the provincial Youth Union chapters, attracting a large number of cadres, soldiers and youth union members to participate. The Provincial Youth Union selected the 25 best entries to send to the central level competition.
Many entries have new ideas, unique expressions and rich content, clarifying the history of formation and development of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; the role of political cadres, political agencies and Party and political activities in the Vietnam People's Army. At the same time, they express deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of previous generations; the responsibility to continue and promote traditions in studying and working to contribute to building a prosperous and happy country...
As a result, Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union was one of 35 groups awarded a certificate of merit by the Director of the General Department of Politics for their outstanding achievements in organizing and participating in the Contest to learn about the tradition of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day. In addition, Hai Duong also had 2 groups of authors winning the B prize and the consolation prize at the contest.
On this occasion, two individuals from Hai Duong, who are outstanding cadres and youth union members in the period 2017 - 2024, received certificates of merit from the Director of the General Department of Politics. They are Lieutenant Le Hong Son, Secretary of the Youth Union of Company 1, Battalion 1, Regiment 2, Division 395, Military Region 3 and professional soldier Lieutenant Pham Thuy Duong, member of the Youth Union of the Political - Logistics and Technical Department, Hai Duong Provincial Military Command.
These are two exemplary cadres and union members who have actively trained and been emulation fighters for many years, receiving many certificates of merit in the armed forces and youth movements.
