On the afternoon of October 8, at Lam Son Conference Center, Son Nam Ward, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting with businesses and entrepreneurs on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Vietnam Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2025). Attending the conference were comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Also attending were comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee.

Over the years, the number and quality of businesses and entrepreneurs in Hung Yen province have been growing; the prestige and contributions of businesses have been increasingly affirmed. Up to now, the province has about 16,600 businesses operating effectively, creating jobs for about 520,000 workers. The activities of businesses have contributed to the rapid increase in industrial production value, accounting for a large proportion in the economic structure of the province.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Than affirmed that the achievements of Hung Yen province in the past time are the result of the efforts of the Party Committee, the government and the people in the province, including the important role of the business community and entrepreneurs. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Hung Yen province is always committed to creating favorable conditions for business development and respecting the interests of businesses by directing the promotion of administrative reform, providing timely support to businesses in terms of tax, investment, construction, land, labor training, accompanying businesses...

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee praised the contributions of the Provincial Business Association in performing the role of a "bridge" between enterprises and the government, promptly reflecting and proposing solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles of enterprises to leaders at all levels and having them resolved effectively. At the same time, he requested the Provincial Business Association to closely follow the province's socio-economic development programs and plans, better perform its role as a representative, protecting the legitimate and legal rights of enterprises and entrepreneurs; proactively organize association and cooperation activities, share experiences, support trade promotion, product consumption, human resource training, improve corporate governance capacity; build the Association into an organization with a scale commensurate with the province's development potential in the coming time. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Party Committees and authorities in the province to continue to propagate, thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's and the province's policies and laws on private economic development, support businesses and entrepreneurs in the spirit of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025 of the Politburo on private economic development; synchronously deploy solutions to improve the investment and business environment, facilitate, be safe, competitive and equal for businesses to develop; enhance publicity and transparency in the construction, planning and implementation of strategies, plans, planning and policies for economic development and investment attraction of the province. The business community and entrepreneurs uphold the spirit of self-reliance, promote the tradition of solidarity and mutual assistance; be proactive and creative in innovating production and business models in line with the trend of green economic development, digital economy and circular economy. Proactively and actively participate with Party committees and authorities at all levels in building and perfecting mechanisms and policies to support and encourage production and business development; contribute to promoting administrative reform, improving the investment and business environment and enhancing the province's competitiveness.
