The work "The 15th National Assembly - A Term of Action, Creating Unprecedented Decisions" by authors Nguyen Anh Phap, Nguyen Tran Thuy Vinh, and Ha Huy Hieu (Military Broadcasting and Television Center) was created at a time when the National Assembly was entering its final year of the 2021-2026 term, a period of summarizing many profound innovations in legislative activities, supervision, and decision-making on important national issues.

Editor Nguyen Anh Phap said that the idea for the work stemmed from closely following the activities of the 15th National Assembly throughout its term and recognizing it as a special term with many unprecedented milestones in the history of the National Assembly.

Specifically, the term began amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, yet the National Assembly demonstrated rare courage, wisdom, and flexibility: holding online meetings, issuing special resolutions, and promptly supporting the people and the economy in overcoming difficulties. As a result, a series of unprecedented policies were passed, contributing to the recovery, development, and ensuring social welfare. These policies were particularly noteworthy due to their groundbreaking nature and innovative thinking, methods, and organizational approaches that were unprecedented.

There, the National Assembly not only demonstrates its competence in legislation and supervision, but also affirms its central role in institutionalizing the Party's guidelines and resolutions, especially major policies on national defense, security, defense industry development, army building, and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

In the context of the entire Party and people preparing for the 14th National Congress of the Party and summarizing the term of the 15th National Assembly, the representatives of the author group stated that the work aims to portray the stature, character, and spirit of action of the Vietnamese National Assembly, thereby affirming the image of a National Assembly that is innovative, close to the people, for the people, and for the Fatherland.
