The investor said that this is the first building in Ho Chi Minh City to connect the basement to the metro line 1 station at Ba Son station. The building is built on a land area of 6,000 m2 , with a height of 55 floors above ground and 5 basements next to the Marriott and JW Marriott branded apartment towers at Grand Marina, Saigon. The building is a complex of offices and commercial centers, with a total floor area of over 106,000 m2 . This is also the building in the world's largest branded real estate project to date, managed, operated and exploited by the two brands Marriott and JW Marriott.
Mr. Nguyen Khac Dong, General Director of An Phong Construction Joint Stock Company, the project's general contractor, said that this building is among the tallest in the city, so it faced many challenges during construction as it has 5 basements, with 10,000 cubic meters of concrete. This is the largest batch of concrete ever. The building's 5 basements are directly connected to Ba Son station of metro line 1. When metro line 1 is completed, residents and passengers can walk from the building to the subway and vice versa quickly and easily because Ba Son station is also located in front of the building. To complete the project, An Phong contractor had to work day and night to research construction solutions. Turning the project's challenges into achievements.

Regarding underground space development, Mr. Truong Trung Kien, Deputy Director of the Department of Planning and Architecture of Ho Chi Minh City, said that when constructing metro lines, it is necessary to comply with relevant regulations, consult many parties to evaluate, determine the influence corridor, and the protection area to avoid impacting the common underground space of the city. In the general urban planning project being adjusted, the content of underground space will be fully implemented. The city will determine which areas are encouraged to develop, which areas need to be restricted, and which areas are not allowed to develop horizontally, vertically, and in depth. At the same time, we also calculate the connection of underground space of works with public underground space.
