General census of rural and agricultural areas in 2025 in Hanoi from July 1

Authorities will collect basic information on agriculture, forestry, fisheries and rural areas in Hanoi from July 1.

According to the plan of the Steering Committee for the 2025 rural and agricultural census of Hanoi city, the subjects of the survey are workers in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries (AFF); households participating in AFF activities; farms; enterprises and cooperatives participating in AFF activities; and Commune People's Committees.

The survey content is the current status of agricultural, forestry and fishery production; the current status of rural areas; information on rural residents. The method of comprehensive survey combined with sample survey.

Statistical indicators by date July 1, 2025. Statistical indicators by period are collected according to the number arising in the 12 months before the survey time; or the official number in 2024...

The maximum time for collecting information at the investigation site is 30 days, from July 1 to July 30.

The collected information serves to compile national statistical indicators; socio -economic indicators serve to assess the current situation, analyze changing trends, build plans and strategies for rural development, the NLTS sector and improve the living standards of rural residents nationwide as well as in Hanoi city.

The results of the census serve to research and evaluate the scale and structure of rural labor and agricultural labor; changes in rural infrastructure; the implementation of some contents of national programs and targets in the rural and agricultural sectors; and serve international comparisons of rural and agricultural sector indicators.

At the same time, build a database on rural areas and NLTS to serve in-depth research; serve as a sampling frame for a number of annual periodic surveys on the NLTS sector and meet other statistical requirements.
