On the evening of August 21, at Ba Dinh Square ( Hanoi ), a comprehensive training session for the parade and marching force took place to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (mission A80).
Attending the general training session were comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Central Steering Committee to celebrate major holidays and important historical events of the country in 3 years (2023-2025); General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense .
Although this was the first time the parade and marching practice for the A80 mission was combined at Ba Dinh Square and took place in the evening, the event was a great success.
After more than 3 months of training and 4 times of comprehensive training at the National Military Training Center 4, this is the first time the Organizing Committee has organized comprehensive training at Ba Dinh Square with the relatively full participation of the forces with more than 16,000 officers and soldiers, including 43 walking units, 18 standing units, 14 military and special vehicles of the Army and police.
At the rehearsal, after the ceremony, the National Emblem, Party flag, and Fatherland flag groups; the procession carrying President Ho Chi Minh's portrait; the model of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; the command vehicle, the vehicle carrying the Victory Military Flag; the honorary group of the military branches; the female military band group, the walking groups, vehicles, and artillery of the military branches of the Vietnam People's Army, the Vietnam People's Public Security... took turns passing through the stage in front of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
This is also the first parade in 40 years since 1985 with a large-scale parade of vehicles, weapons, and equipment taking place in Ba Dinh Square.
