On August 27, the Organizing Committee of the Dak Lak Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2024 held the Closing Ceremony and Award Ceremony of the Preliminary Round of the Contest.
The Dak Lak Provincial Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2024 was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, and the Provincial Youth Union with the theme "Dak Lak Youth with Reading Culture". After more than 2 months (from April 4 to June 30, 2024) of launching, the contest attracted the participation of a large number of students from 57 schools with 3,060 entries, including 303 primary school students, 2,150 middle school students and 607 high school students.

According to the evaluation of the Organizing Committee, the entries selected for the provincial competition and winning prizes are all products completed with love, passion, and with careful investment and quality. Many candidates have made proposals and plans for developing a reading culture that are close to the reality of the locality and school. In the way they did the exam, the candidates felt well, expressed their passion for reading, developed their thinking, creativity, aroused their desire to contribute and develop the country, and contributed to building the system of cultural values and standards of Vietnamese people.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded the prizes "Group with the most participants" and "Group with the most winning participants" to Chu Van An Secondary School, Ea Kar district.

Regarding individual awards, the “Impressive Reading Culture Development Plan” award was given to 5 students, of which the first prize went to Nguyen Thuc Khue, class 3A, Nguyen Ba Ngoc Primary School, Buon Ma Thuot City. The “Continuing a Story or Book” award went to 5 students, of which Vo Hoai An, class 3B, Ly Tu Trong Primary and Secondary School, Ea Kar District, excellently won the first prize.
The prize for "Sharing about a character in a work that has inspired positive thoughts" was awarded to 11 students, of which the first prize went to Pham Gia Vinh Tuong, class 7A, Nguyen Khuyen Secondary School, Ea Kar district.
Award for “Continuing a Story or Book”.
The "Impressive reading culture development experience initiative" award went to 2 students, of which the first prize went to Ta Thi Thuy Ngan, class 12A12, Nguyen Hue High School, Ea Toh commune, Krong Nang district.
The prize for "Sharing feelings about a book" went to 5 students, of which the second prize (no first prize) went to Le Ngoc Anh Thu, class 10A2, Phan Boi Chau High School, Krong Nang district.
The “Short story writing to encourage reading” prize was awarded to Ta Thi Thuy Ngan, class 12A12, Nguyen Hue High School, Ea Toh Commune, Krong Nang District. The “Most impressive video of the Contest” prize went to Hoang Lan Chi, class 4A, Phan Chu Trinh Primary School, Buon Ma Thuot City. The Organizing Committee also selected 6 best works to participate in the final round of the National Reading Culture Ambassador Contest.
Awarded the prize for "The article sharing about a character in a work that has inspired positive thoughts".
The contest is a useful playground for students in the province, creating opportunities for them to exchange and share their reading experiences, develop a reading culture, and spread a passion for reading to the younger generation. Thereby, encouraging and promoting the reading movement in schools and communities, forming habits and improving reading skills for students.
