(CLO) Politicians and leaders around the world have begun to congratulate Donald Trump after he declared victory in the 2024 US presidential election. This almost ended the chances of Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris winning.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Netanyahu wrote on X: "Dear Donald and Melania Trump. Congratulations on the greatest comeback in history! Your historic return to the White House opens a new beginning for America and a strong commitment to the great alliance between Israel and the United States. This is a huge victory!"
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy
"Congratulations to @realDonaldTrump on his impressive election victory!
I recall the wonderful meeting with President Trump in September, when we discussed in detail the Ukraine-US strategic partnership, the Victory Plan and ways to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte

Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer
