On the evening of October 5, Vietnam's Next Top Model 2025 aired episode 8 with the magazine cover photo challenge with the theme "Solar Eclipse" - one of the most important rounds of the season.

The remaining 6 contestants must fully demonstrate their high fashion spirit through 3 contrasting photo themes to win 3 tickets to the final night.

Right from the start of the shoot, Tra My and Giang Phung had difficulty keeping up with the high demands of the theme. Tra My - who had stood out for her dancing skills in previous episodes - was reminded by the judges to "stop dancing" because her movements lacked control and lost the fashion spirit. Meanwhile, My Ngan and Tuyet Mai surprised everyone with their strong breakthroughs. The two contestants showed their ability to master light, expression and movement, leaving the judges impressed.

In the evaluation part, Bao Ngoc was praised by judge Thanh Hang: "I like Bao Ngoc in this photoshoot, she is proactive, thoughtful and knows how to visualize clearly in each frame". Mai Hoa also received many compliments for her deep expressions, showing a transformation and strong change compared to previous episodes.

In the elimination room, the atmosphere became choked when the judges were forced to say goodbye to the 3 contestants who had worked hard throughout the journey. Thanh Hang burst into tears, hugged the contestants tightly and shared: "This is the most difficult moment". Designer Do Manh Cuong also said emotionally: "I wish I could bring all 6 of you to the finals".

At the end of episode 8, Bao Ngoc won, joining My Ngan and Mai Hoa in the final round.
