According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai City, following the direction of the City People's Committee, 92 out of 95 communes and wards in the city have submitted reports and contributed opinions on the draft Decision to establish a Steering Committee to address existing problems and obstacles in the management and use of public land.
Representatives from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Dong Nai City stated that the city's public land is currently distributed widely across 95 communes and wards. The management, use, and handling of issues related to public land have been carried out regularly, contributing to improved state management efficiency and effectively utilizing land resources for socio -economic development.
However, in light of practical requirements and changes in the land law system, especially in the context of the two-tiered local government model being implemented, many issues have arisen that require further review and improvement.
According to Nguyen Tuan Anh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai City, the policy of reviewing public land funds has been implemented by the locality for many years. However, the implementation process still faces some difficulties and obstacles due to the continuous adjustment and supplementation of land law regulations.
According to the city's People's Committee leaders, Dong Nai is entering a new phase of development requiring more efficient exploitation of land resources to serve investment and growth. Therefore, a comprehensive review of public land resources has been identified as a necessary task to develop appropriate management and utilization plans, while also promptly addressing long-standing issues in practice.
The City People's Committee has assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to lead the review and study of the new regulations on forms for localities to comprehensively survey and assess the current status of public land; focusing on identifying existing problems and obstacles and proposing solutions.
Based on consolidated reports from communes and wards, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will advise the City People's Committee to consider and direct the resolution of issues arising in the management and use of public land at the local level. At the same time, localities are required to develop plans for the efficient use of public land and agricultural and forestry land under their management.
In addition, the Land Development Center is also coordinating with the Department of Agriculture and Environment to carry out the demarcation and handover of land plots that have been received but have not yet been effectively managed and exploited.
