Go Cong City: Completed 2 provincial roads with a total investment of nearly 88.5 billion VND

Provincial Road 877 through Go Cong City has been completed ahead of schedule.

Accordingly, right from the beginning of the year, Go Cong City held a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of the Go Cong Provincial Party Committee Memorial Monument and other projects to welcome the new year 2025. In addition to the newly started projects, Go Cong City also focused on implementing projects transferred from 2024.

Among them, there are key projects such as: Provincial Road 871C (section through Go Cong City); Provincial Road 877 (section through Go Cong City). Accordingly, the Provincial Road 871C Project has a total investment of over 35.4 billion VND from the provincial budget.

The paving and lighting of the sidewalks of Provincial Road 871C is a project using the city budget and implemented with a total investment of 8.5 billion VND for synchronous investment on the entire route. Meanwhile, the Provincial Road 877 project has a total investment of over 44.7 billion VND.

According to Chairman of Go Cong City People's Committee Gian Ba ​​Huynh, in the 2025 public investment plan, the city will invest in upgrading 3 provincial roads passing through the area including: 871C, 877, 873B. In the resolution of the city's 2020 - 2025 term, the locality will focus on expanding urban space and connecting traffic infrastructure.

In the city, there are provincial roads connecting traffic infrastructure such as: 871, 871C, 862, 877, 873... The city has invested in completing the infrastructure system of these connecting traffic axes from road surface, trees, lighting, sidewalks. According to the plan, the two provincial roads 871C and 877 will be completed by July 2025.

However, the city has launched a competition, focusing on urging contractors to speed up the progress, completing it on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day. Up to this point, these two provincial roads have been completed more than 2 months ahead of schedule.
