On the morning of December 12th, the Ho Chi Minh City Electronic Media Association held a meeting to summarize its activities in 2024 and announced the establishment of the Ho Chi Minh City Blockchain Branch (HBA) and the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Advertising and Communication Branch (DACA).

Within the framework of the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City, stated that the legal framework still needs much improvement for the development of Blockchain businesses in Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country.

"Ho Chi Minh City is currently a leading center with notable achievements in the blockchain sector such as SkyMavis, Ninety Eight, Kyber... All of these businesses have been established for 7-8 years and have gained international recognition through various stages. Ho Chi Minh City also possesses a high-quality workforce, something that new industries like blockchain desperately need and are currently lacking," Mr. Le Thanh stated.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoi presented the decision to establish the Ho Chi Minh City Blockchain Association to its Chairman, Mr. Nguyen The Vinh. The association's vision is to contribute to making Ho Chi Minh City a leading technology hub in the region, while also promoting awareness and innovation in this field. Also at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quang Nhut, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Advertising and Communication Association, received the decision to establish his own association. The Digital Advertising and Communication Association was established to meet the growing demand for creative communication strategies and digital advertising in the digital economy .
