The formula for calculating scores for high school graduation recognition from 2025 has changed compared to before, according to the exam regulations announced by the Ministry of Education and Training .
Specifically, according to the high school graduation exam regulations announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, the graduation recognition score from 2025 includes the scores of the subjects the candidates take the exam (accounting for 50%); the average score (GPA) of the years of high school (accounting for 50%) and priority points and incentive points, if any.
The formula for calculating graduation recognition scores in 2025 is as follows:

The Ministry of Education and Training notes that the average score (GPA) for grades 10, 11, and 12 is the average score of all subjects evaluated by the scores of each school year. The GPA for each school year and the GPA of all school years are rounded to 2 decimal places.
This GPA is only calculated based on the years the candidate studied under the Vietnamese GeneralEducation /Continuing Education Program.
Candidates who are eligible to take the exam, have not been disciplined to have their exam results canceled, all subjects achieve above 1 point (on a 10-point scale) and have a graduation score of 5 points or higher will be recognized as graduating from high school.
All candidates have the right to have their exam reviewed; candidates wishing to do so will submit an application for review at the place of registration for the exam.
The place where candidates registered for the exam will receive the appeal application within 10 days from the date of announcement of exam scores and transfer the data to the Examination Council.
Within 15 days from the deadline for receiving appeals, the Examination Council must announce and notify the candidates of the appeal results.
According to the plan, the Departments of Education and Training and high schools will complete the recognition of high school graduation no later than July 18.
Departments of Education and Training will announce high school graduation results no later than July 20.
Units will print and send exam result certificates to candidates no later than July 22.
The collection of appeal applications and the preparation of the appeal list will take place from July 16 to July 25. The organization of the exam appeal (if any) will be completed no later than August 3.

1. Look up 2025 high school graduation exam scores on the Ministry of Education and Training system
Candidates and parents can look up their 2025 high school graduation exam scores through the Ministry of Education and Training's exam management system in the following ways:

2. Look up high school graduation exam scores in 2025 through the information page of the Department of Education and Training of the province or city
Candidates can also look up their 2025 high school graduation exam scores through the websites of the Departments of Education and Training of provinces and centrally run cities in the following ways:
