“Happy Vietnam” is a photo and video contest on the national image promotion platform Vietnam.vn to encourage people nationwide, overseas Vietnamese and international friends to apply digital technology to create. Since its launch in June 2023, the contest has attracted more than 20,000 photos.
At the exhibition of national achievements, 150 photos and 30 videos were selected and displayed according to three themes: Happy Land (introducing nature, cultural heritage, and the richness of regions); Happy People (portraying Vietnamese people in work, study, creativity, and sharing); Happy Moments (recording emotional moments of everyday life).
The exhibition also applies 3D mapping/AR/Metaverse virtual reality technology to help the public enter a vivid, multi-dimensional space.

The special thing is that the works on display are not only from professional photographers but also from local people, overseas Vietnamese, and international tourists living and working in Vietnam. Each photo and video is not simply a work of art but a vivid story about the strength, creativity, and vitality of the people.
Digital technology and digital platforms have turned every smartphone into a creative tool, helping everyone contribute their voice to the picture of a happy Vietnam.

The exhibition attracts the public with modern applications such as 3D mapping, augmented reality (AR), multi-layer digital maps of 34 provinces and cities. Visitors can directly interact with images, sounds, vivid digital spaces and experience online via the Vietnam.vn platform.
This is a place to gather press data, central and local information portals, integrate the Happy Vietnam social network and Vietnam promotion database.
The platform has now been translated into 10 languages, serving millions of readers, 80% of which come from abroad.

In particular, 29,220 gifts with QR codes are prepared for visitors to explore the digital platform promoting Vietnam and experience VR technology associated with familiar landmarks.

At the exhibition, the area introducing the grassroots information system provides a comprehensive view of the communication network that has reached every household. Currently, the country has more than 3,000 commune-level radio stations, 49,500 transmission and reception clusters applying information and telecommunications technology, and 3,321 Zalo OA pages that turn phones into "ward loudspeakers in hand".
More than 137,000 grassroots propagandists still persistently convey official information to every citizen day and night, as close as everyday stories.
In addition to the digital space, the exhibition also introduces iconic notebook collections such as “80 Years + S” (an extended journey of knowledge), “34 provinces and cities” (honoring cultural diversity), and “Happy Vietnam” (the creative aspirations of the young generation).
All 29,220 notebooks were given away for free, with the message “happiness comes from knowledge, sharing and creativity”.

Along with modern technology, the exhibition honors folk art through the lacquer works of artisan Latoa. The layers of paint, metallic sheen, and elaborate carvings bring visual depth, from the historical “Chieu doi do” to contemporary works.
Visiting the exhibition, the public not only admires but also directly experiences making folk paintings, bringing home 1,000 gifts created by their own hands.

At the space of “Happy Vietnam”, many attractive interactive activities took place such as taking photos at the photobooth, writing messages on the “Happiness Tree”, participating in the digital painting “Happiness Map” from 800 pieces or participating in the photo-video contest “Happy Vietnam 2025”.
Each visitor will receive a “happy passport” recording their journey of experience through landmarks and provinces across the country.

The exhibition is also an opportunity to promote the image of a beautiful country, the nation's outstanding achievements, the people's enduring journey of happiness, affirming endogenous strength and faith in the future.
This is truly an emotional meeting place, where the public not only visits but also creates and spreads the belief in a prosperous and happy Vietnam.
