A modern, state-of-the-art computer lab is not only the aspiration of teachers but also the dream of students. However, due to limited resources, the school's computer lab has not been able to adequately meet the needs of teaching and learning in recent times.

In response to this situation, on August 26, 2025, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Women's Union, in collaboration with the GCS Organization of South Korea, handed over a computer classroom worth over 851 million VND to Quang Vinh Secondary School.

The computer lab was handed over and includes 35 desktop computers for students, one computer for the teacher, and one 65-inch interactive TV screen. In addition, there are headphones, a printer, air conditioning, specialized desks and chairs, etc., to support the teaching of Computer Science and Information Technology applications.

Speaking at the ceremony, Lee Jung Woo, Director of GCS Korea in Vietnam, emphasized: “The donation of the computer classroom not only creates a modern learning environment but also provides an important foundation for students to hone their information technology skills, nurture their dreams, and strive to become talented individuals in the future.”

Immediately after the handover ceremony, students from Quang Vinh Junior High School enthusiastically experienced and practiced in the modern computer lab. They all shared a feeling of delight at using the new computers, fully equipped with applications and software, and boasting fast processing speeds. This modern classroom promises to open up many opportunities for students to hone their computer skills, access digital knowledge, and foster creativity.

The computer classroom handed over is part of the project "Enhancing digital transformation capacity for junior high school students through AI-powered computer classrooms," funded by Samsung Korea through GCS Korea, and implemented from the beginning of August 2025.

In addition to supporting Quang Vinh Junior High School, this project also supports five other junior high schools in Thai Nguyen province: Tan Hoa, Yen Ninh, Hoa Thuong, Nha Trang, and Gia Sang. Each school will receive a modern, fully equipped computer classroom, with a total cost of nearly 5 billion VND.

According to the GCS Korea organization, the project aims to enhance the capacity of junior high school students to access and apply digital technologies , especially artificial intelligence; and at the same time, provide modern technological infrastructure, contributing to the development of digital skills for the young generation of Vietnam.

The computer labs not only help students access information technology but also contribute to improving the quality of education , creating a foundation for them to confidently integrate into the 4.0 era.
