(NLĐO) – Scholarships handed directly to disadvantaged students in Ca Mau have helped them continue pursuing their dreams of going to school.
On December 17th, in U Minh district, Ca Mau Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with Tuoi Tre Newspaper, organized the awarding of "Sowing Seeds of Knowledge" scholarships to 180 disadvantaged students who achieved good or excellent academic results.
Here, delegates personally presented scholarships (2 million VND per scholarship), including bicycles and school supplies, to underprivileged students who have strived to excel in their studies in the communes of Nguyen Phich, Khanh Thuan, Khanh Tien, etc.
The scholarships were awarded directly to students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Previously, the program awarded scholarships to students in Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, and Dak Lak provinces… To date, the "Sowing Seeds of Knowledge" program has awarded a total of 4,565 scholarships with a total value of over 9.31 billion VND.

The investment in rural roads leading to the centers of communes and towns, as well as inter-hamlet and inter-commune roads, has made transportation and the exchange of goods among the people easier.
"The gifts presented today are very practical and meaningful because they help disadvantaged students in the district continue pursuing their dreams of going to school. I hope that the students receiving scholarships will use them wisely to ensure their studies in the future and will pay attention to safety when riding bicycles to school," shared the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of U Minh District.
Following the scholarship awarding ceremony in U Minh district, the program will award 20 scholarships to students in Tac Van commune, Ca Mau city, Ca Mau province.
