Donating 6,200 coffee trees to the people of Laos.

On the afternoon of May 12th, the Chieng Tuong Border Guard Station, under the Command of the Son La Provincial Border Guard, presented thousands of high-quality coffee seedlings to several households in the border area with Laos.

The program was attended by leaders of the Long Phieng commune government and the commander, officers, and soldiers of the Chieng Tuong Border Guard Post; on the Lao side, there were leaders of the Mongnam commune government and the households receiving the gifts.

Over the past period, the Border Guard of Son La province has implemented many practical activities to help the people in the border area of ​​neighboring Laos. The coffee trees were mobilized from social sources and contributions from officers and soldiers of the Chieng Tuong Border Guard Post.

The Chieng Tuong Border Guard Station purchased 6,200 coffee seedlings and 500kg of fertilizer to donate to several households in neighboring Laos. The program has left many positive impressions, contributing to economic development and stabilizing the lives of Lao households in the border area with Son La province.

This is a practical activity aimed at helping the people of Laos to have more opportunities to develop production and gradually improve and increase their family's economic income.

In addition to donating coffee seedlings and fertilizer, the Son La Border Guard also provided guidance on techniques for planting, caring for, and controlling pests and diseases in coffee plants, helping people access effective production methods suitable to the local climate and soil conditions.

The donated coffee trees not only have economic value but also represent the affection, responsibility, and bond of the soldiers in green uniforms with the people of the border region of Laos.

This is also one of the activities that contributes to strengthening the people's support between the two sides and building an increasingly strong and friendly relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

In the coming period, the Son La Border Guard will continue to strengthen activities to assist the people of Vietnam and Laos in promoting economic development and sustainable poverty reduction.

Through these meaningful activities, the Son La Provincial Border Guard continues to affirm its pivotal role in border defense diplomacy, building a peaceful, friendly, stable, and developing Vietnam-Laos border.
