Dr. Le Anh Duc, Head of the Training Department at the National Economics University, informed that the university will open registration for the combined admission method from June 11th to July 11th. This method includes the following groups of candidates: candidates applying with a combination of international English certificates and scores from two high school graduation exams; candidates with international aptitude assessment certificates (ACT/SAT); candidates with international English certificates combined with aptitude test results from two national universities, results from a thinking skills assessment test (Hanoi University of Science and Technology), and results from a computer-based aptitude test (V-SAT).

To date, statistics from the National Economics University show that 18,000 candidates have applied for admission using a combination of international English certificates, and 3,200 candidates have applied using SAT/ACT certificates. Thus, this year there are over 21,000 candidates applying for admission to the National Economics University with international certificates.
According to Dr. Le Anh Duc, in 2024, 70% of students admitted to the university will have an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.
This year, the total enrollment quota for the National Economics University is 8,500, of which 8,200 are for regular undergraduate programs. The university has just announced the minimum admission score for all admission methods, which has been converted to 22/30 points, 2 points higher than the previously announced admission plan. Dr. Le Anh Duc also confirmed that the university admits students based on four subject combinations (A00, A01, D01, and D07) and applies a single minimum score; there is no difference in the admission scores between the combinations within a single training program.
