Gratitude to policy families and people with merit in Son Linh commune

(QNgTV) - On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, on the afternoon of August 19, Son Linh commune organized a ceremony to honor families of policy beneficiaries and meritorious people, and gave gifts to children in difficult circumstances in the area.

Son Linh commune grants funds to build and repair houses.

Son Linh Commune has awarded 150 million VND from the support fund of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai province to build 2 new houses for Mr. Dinh Dinh, Dong A village, Mrs. Dinh Thi Them, Lang Ghe village and repair the house for Mr. Dinh Van Trot in Ka La village, victims of Agent Orange.

Presented 15 bicycles to 15 disadvantaged students with a total cost of over 100 million VND mobilized by the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son Linh commune from benefactors inside and outside the commune.

At the ceremony, the leaders of Son Linh commune kindly asked about the health and life of the policy families; expressed deep gratitude to those who have devoted their whole lives to the revolutionary cause.
