Truong Sa island district ( Khanh Hoa ) recently held a meeting with teachers working in the island district on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20).

On the morning of November 20, communes and towns of Truong Sa district organized meetings with teachers on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
At the meetings, delegates, teachers and students reviewed the traditions of Vietnamese Teachers' Day; enjoyed performances by officers, soldiers and students.
In addition, the teachers were congratulated and given flowers by the commander of Brigade 146, the commanders of the islands, representatives of parents and students on Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
Mr. Cao Van Truyen - a teacher at Truong Sa Town Primary School - said that he had previously volunteered to write an application to work on the island and always felt very honored and proud to teach at Truong Sa Town Primary School, to contribute a small part of his efforts to the cause of educating people on the frontline islands of the Fatherland.
"With the attention that the government, people and forces stationed on the island have given to the teaching staff, we feel that we must try harder in teaching so that the teaching and learning results of the school will be better and better" - Mr. Truyen shared.
