Expressing gratitude to teachers in Truong Sa.

The Truong Sa island district ( Khanh Hoa province ) recently held a meeting with teachers working in the district to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20).

On the morning of November 20th, the communes and towns of Truong Sa district held gatherings for teachers to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

At the gatherings, delegates, teachers, and students together reviewed the traditions of Vietnamese Teachers' Day; and enjoyed cultural performances by officers, soldiers, and students.

In addition, the teachers received congratulations and flowers from the commander of Brigade 146, the commanders of the islands, representatives of parents, and students on Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

Mr. Cao Van Truyen, a teacher at Truong Sa Town Primary School, said that he had previously volunteered to work on the island and always felt very honored and proud to teach at Truong Sa Town Primary School, contributing his small efforts to the cause of educating children in the frontline islands of the Fatherland.

"Given the attention and support from the government, the people, and the military forces stationed on the island for the teaching staff, we feel we must strive even harder in our teaching work so that the school's teaching and learning results will improve even further," Mr. Truyen shared.
