Deploying the task of arranging and merging commune-level administrative units between Ha Giang city and Bac Me and Vi Xuyen districts

BHG - On May 7, the Ha Giang City Party Committee held a conference to deploy the tasks of implementing the arrangement and merger of commune-level administrative units between Ha Giang city and Bac Me and Vi Xuyen districts. Comrades: Chung Thi Chien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee; Pham Thi Hong Yen, Secretary of Bac Me District Party Committee; Dinh The Manh, Secretary of Vi Xuyen District Party Committee chaired the conference.

According to the project of arranging administrative units of Ha Giang province, Ha Giang 2 ward was established on the basis of merging the status quo of 5 administrative units including: Phong Quang commune (Vi Xuyen district) and 4 wards of Ha Giang city: Ngoc Ha, Tran Phu, Minh Khai and Quang Trung after adjusting groups 1 and 2 to Ha Giang 1 ward, with an area of ​​60.62 km2, population size is 33,100 people. Regarding the apparatus of the 4 city wards, there are currently 84 cadres; there are 87 party organizations, 2,909 party members and 5,169 party members maintaining contact with their place of residence. For Phong Quang commune, Vi Xuyen district, there are currently 19 cadres, 12 party cells, 226 party members and 126 party members maintaining contact with their place of residence. Ngoc Duong commune was established on the basis of the original Ngoc Duong commune, Ha Giang city and Yen Dinh commune, Bac Me district after adjusting Ngam Pia and Na Khong villages to Minh Ngoc commune. Regarding the current apparatus, Ngoc Duong commune has 20 cadres, 14 party cells, 329 party members and 280 party members maintaining ties to their place of residence. Yen Dinh commune currently has 19 cadres, 18 party cells, 375 party members and 102 party members maintaining ties to their place of residence.

At the conference, the districts and cities discussed the arrangement of commune-level cadres, the arrangement of workplaces and headquarters of commune-level agencies and units after the merger. Bac Me and Vi Xuyen districts basically agreed with the proposed plan for the arrangement of cadres of the Ha Giang City Party Committee.

Concluding the conference, Secretary of the Ha Giang City Party Committee Chung Thi Chien highly appreciated the units and specialized agencies for their coordination and proactiveness in developing a personnel plan for the merged units. At the same time, she emphasized: Based on the regulations of the Central and the province, the Ha Giang City Party Committee will arrange staff reasonably and harmoniously to promote the strengths, capacities and practical conditions of each specific case. Regarding the headquarters and working assets, it is necessary to arrange the agencies of the Party, government, Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations to concentrate at the administrative center to ensure smoothness and convenience in the process of leadership, direction and implementation of tasks. In the immediate future, after the merger, the one-stop result delivery department of the old Yen Dinh commune will be retained to create favorable conditions for people to travel and conduct transactions with state agencies.
