Photo exhibition on ethnicity and religion in the cause of national construction and defense

On the morning of November 5, at Bach Dang Square, Soc Trang city, the Ministry of Information and Communications coordinated with the People's Committee of Soc Trang province to open a photo exhibition to promote the ethnic and religious communities in Vietnam in the cause of national construction and defense.

The photo exhibition on religious people attracted a large number of officials and people to come and see.

The exhibition is part of the Southern Khmer Cultural, Sports and Tourism Festival, which will last until November 8. The exhibition displays more than 600 photos divided into 4 display areas: Ethnic minorities promoting the spirit of solidarity, creativity, integration and sustainable development; documents on Vietnamese religions and beliefs; fighting against the exploitation of ethnicity and religion and the image of ethnicity and religion of Soc Trang province.

This is an activity of information and propaganda about the nation and historical traditions, national cultural identity, the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, the State's policies and laws on ethnicity, beliefs, religions, and the values ​​of religion in social life, contributing to promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc and religious unity in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The exhibition contributes to preserving and promoting the traditional historical and cultural values ​​of the Vietnamese people; strengthening national and religious solidarity in realizing the goals of socio -economic development and national defense; promoting the values ​​of beliefs and religions in social life and fighting against deviant manifestations and taking advantage of beliefs and religions to negatively affect social order and security and people's lives.
