Immediately after the success of the August Revolution, on November 23, 1945, President of the Provisional Government Ho Chi Minh signed Decree No. 65/SL on the preservation of antiquities and relics throughout Vietnam. On February 24, 2005, Prime Minister Phan Van Khai signed Decision No. 36/2005/QD-TTg on taking November 23 as "Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day" . Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23) has truly become a traditional day to light the flame of national cultural heritage in the hearts of the Vietnamese people. At the same time, it is a vivid demonstration of the vitality and spread of cultural heritage in the integration flow of the country's culture.

In order to preserve and promote the value of the province's cultural heritages, to celebrate the Anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Exhibition "Hung Yen Cultural Heritage - Tourism Space" in 2023 at Hung Yen Provincial Museum.

Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: Le Xuan Tien - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Duy Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Tourism Development of Hung Yen Province; Do Huu Nhan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Doan Van Hoa - Former Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Tourism Association; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, unions; teachers and students of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School, To Hieu High School; leaders of specialized departments and units. under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and the masses.

The exhibition features a series of activities with rich and attractive content: Thematic exhibition "Living with Heritage" introduces over 200 images, documents, and unique artifacts about: National treasures; historical, cultural, architectural and artistic relics; traditional festivals; folk performing arts; traditional crafts, customs, beliefs and folk knowledge.

Hung Yen has a rich and diverse system of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, imbued with the unique cultural identity of the province and the Red River Delta. Currently, Hung Yen province has 1,802 relics, including 03 special national relics and relic sites (Pho Hien relic site, Hung Yen city; Thai Lac pagoda relic site, Lac Hong commune, Van Lam district; An Xa temple relic site, An Vien commune, Tien Lu district); 175 relics and relic clusters are ranked at the national level; 274 relics and relic clusters at the provincial level; 07 artifacts and groups of artifacts are recognized as National Treasures. The province also preserves more than 500 traditional festivals with 337 festivals preserved, completely preserving both the ritual and festival parts, of which 05 festivals are included in the list of National Intangible Cultural Heritage (Tong Tran temple festival, Phu Cu district; Thai Lac pagoda rain praying festival, Van Lam district; Da Hoa temple festival, Binh Minh commune and Hoa Da Trach temple festival, Da Trach commune, Khoai Chau district; An Xa temple festival, An Vien commune, Tien Lu district). The art of singing Trong Quan has been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage. Hung Yen has 35 artisans honored to be awarded the title of "People's Artisan" and "Excellent Artisan" by the President. According to statistics, the province currently has more than 147 typical traditional craft villages: Cao Thon incense making, Bao Khe commune, Hung Yen city; Long Thuong bronze casting, Dai Dong commune, Van Lam district... and specialties with typical flavors such as: lotus seed longan tea; The Ky vermicelli soup (Hung Yen city); Tieu Quan chicken rolls (Khoai Chau); Phuong Tuong braised frog (Tien Lu)...
