After the success of “Indigo - the source of Cau River I” in 2024, artists and authors specializing in Fine Arts in Bac Kan province continue to prepare for the Exhibition serving Bac Kan Culture - Tourism Week in 2025. The exhibition is expected to display nearly 80 works of art from 16 artists and authors who are members and collaborators of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association.
Mr. Tran Giang Nam, member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and member of the Bac Kan Fine Arts Association, said: "This is the second time that Bac Kan artists and authors have had a large-scale painting exhibition to serve the people in the province. This is an honor and happiness for us. We have prepared for many months, investing in creating works about our homeland Bac Kan. Through the exhibition, we hope that the public will feel the familiar daily scene but through the works of art will bring a special beauty. From those feelings, we will appreciate the simple things in daily life, and love our homeland Bac Kan more".

According to Mr. Tran Giang Nam, this exhibition has given the artists and authors a relatively long time to prepare. Therefore, the works are carefully selected, meticulously prepared, and meticulous in both form and content. Most of the works are newly completed. Focusing on the theme "Indigo - the source of the Cau River", the paintings all praise, introduce and delve into the cultural identity of the nature and people of the highlands. Each work has its own characteristics of the land of Bac Kan.
Mr. Ha Van Dai is the youngest author whose work is displayed at this Exhibition. Having just returned from Ha Giang , he will bring artistic sculptures. If at the 2024 Exhibition, his three realistic wood carvings received much love from art lovers, then with "Indigo - the source of Song Cau II", Mr. Dai brings 3 clusters of statues with nearly 50 unique artistic statues.

Mr. Ha Van Dai shared: I have been working in Ha Giang for many years, and now I have just returned to my hometown. These works have been cherished by me for a long time, hoping that viewers will love them. The statues are mostly images of people in the highlands, artistic carvings, with meanings imprinted in each work. There are the hardships and difficulties of the old men and women, as well as peace and hope... This will also be my future direction with wood carvings.
In addition to the sculptures, this exhibition also has a special highlight when displaying 10 works by the late painter Duong Thi Noi, one of the first people to lay the foundation for Bac Kan Fine Arts. Her paintings have been selected to be displayed at many exhibitions at home and abroad.
The late painter Duong Thi Noi devoted her entire life to art, and she always wished to introduce her works to the public in the province. The exhibition “Sac Cham – the source of Song Cau II” is a rare opportunity for the public to enjoy the unique paintings of the late painter Duong Thi Noi.

The exhibition “Indigo – the source of Cau River II” is not only an opportunity to admire unique works of art, but also an opportunity for art lovers to immerse themselves in the cultural life of Bac Kan. Here, indigo is not only present in paintings, but also flows quietly through every house, every person, and also in the passionate love for the land at the source.
The exhibition “Sac Cham - the source of Cau River II” by artist and author Bac Kan is expected to open on the afternoon of April 24 at the hall of Bac Kan Provincial Cultural House. The exhibition will be on display until April 30, 2025./.
