
Akay Glutinous Rice Wine Production and Business Facility in Da Teh commune specializes in producing various types of wine from glutinous rice – a specialty of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups – which were introduced and cultivated in Da Teh. In 2024, Akay Glutinous Rice Wine achieved a 3-star OCOP product rating. “Thanks to a 100 million VND grant from the local industrial promotion fund, we have additional financial resources to purchase advanced equipment and machinery to improve product quality and meet the increasingly high standards of consumers,” said Truong Thi Thuy Huong, owner of Akay Glutinous Rice Wine Production and Business Facility.
Like Akay Glutinous Rice Wine Production and Business Establishment, Phu Sy Tea Company Limited in Ward 2, Bao Loc also received 100 million VND in support to upgrade machinery and equipment and apply advanced technology to production. Mr. Nguyen Duc Sy, representative of Phu Sy Tea Company Limited, said: The company's tea production factory is being equipped with a modern system of equipment, according to clean technology standards of Vietnam and some countries around the world .
Akay Glutinous Rice Wine Production and Business Establishment and Phu Sy Tea Company Limited are two of the 29 rural industrial product manufacturing enterprises and establishments in Lam Dong province that will receive support from the Department of Industry and Trade's industrial promotion fund to upgrade machinery and equipment and apply clean production methods in 2025. The total capital allocated for the province's industrial promotion activities in 2025 is over 2.7 billion VND.
In 2025, the Department of Industry and Trade will also support businesses and production facilities of rural industrial products to participate in conferences and trade connection programs, promote products, and expand product markets in some central provinces, with a total amount of 100 million VND.
Besides local industrial promotion funds, national industrial promotion funds have also supported businesses and production facilities of rural industrial products in the province, with a total amount of 3.7 billion VND. Specifically, national industrial promotion funds provided 300 million VND to Dam Sen Seafood Processing and Trading Company Limited; 300 million VND to Beany Food Company Limited; and 1 billion VND to four rural industrial product production facilities (Ba Hai Fish Sauce Company Limited, Phan Thiet Mui Ne Fish Sauce Processing and Export Joint Stock Company, Kim Ngu Fish Sauce Trading and Production Company Limited, and Kim Chau Seafood Company Limited). Providing 600 million VND in support to 2 rural industrial product manufacturing facilities (Hoang Phuoc Construction and Transportation Co., Ltd., Duc Hanh Dak Nong Co., Ltd.) and 1.5 billion VND in support to 5 rural industrial product manufacturing facilities (An Nhien Organic Co., Ltd., An Phat Trading & Services Co., Ltd., Ngoi Sao Production & Processing Co., Ltd., Maca Hills Import-Export Co., Ltd., Boanerges Co., Ltd.).
The Department of Industry and Trade assesses that, through monitoring, most businesses and production facilities in rural industrial sectors that have benefited from industrial promotion support have achieved good results in production and business. Modern machinery contributes to improving product quality, increasing product competitiveness, and expanding production scale. Businesses and production facilities in rural industrial sectors have more opportunities and conditions to access customers, boost product sales, and seek investment and cooperation partners.
