Lam Dong Agricultural Extension Center has successfully implemented two models of growing black peanuts and sweet lemons in coffee gardens in three districts: Duc Trong, Don Duong and Lam Ha.
Specifically, CNC1 black peanuts are grown in coffee gardens in Da Loan commune, Duc Trong district, with a scale of 2 hectares/2 households, with a survival rate of over 90%. The time from planting to harvest is 130-135 days. The height of the harvested plant is about 45-50 cm, the weight is about 400g/100 tubers. The average crop period is 4 months, the yield is about 7 tons/ha, corresponding to a profit of 44 million VND/ha.
Next, the model of intensive cultivation of sweet passion fruit trees according to VietGAP on ineffective coffee land in Pro commune, Don Duong district and Dinh Van town, Tan Thanh commune, Lam Ha district, scale of 2 hectares/4 households, survival rate of trees over 90%. After 4 months of planting, the trees are 120-150 cm tall, forecast to achieve high economic efficiency for replication in the area.
