At the program, officers and soldiers were informed about the special friendship tradition between Vietnam and Cuba and the current situation in which the Cuban people, especially children, the elderly and vulnerable groups, are facing many difficulties due to the prolonged impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, many natural disasters and the embargo policy.

Sympathizing and understanding the difficulties of the Cuban people, with a spirit of volunteerism, officers and soldiers donated more than 45 million VND, through the activity demonstrating the responsibility and affection of Regiment 1, Division 330, Military Region 9 towards the Cuban people.
