Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai visits and inspects the Border Guard Command of Thanh Hoa province

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On July 31, a working delegation of the Border Guard Command (BĐBP) led by Lieutenant General Le Duc Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Commander of the Border Guard, visited and inspected the Border Guard Command of Thanh Hoa province. The delegation included Major General Nguyen Xuan Toan, Chief of Political Affairs of the Border Guard; Major General Tran Hai Binh, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Border Guard, and representatives of specialized departments and offices of the Border Guard Command.

He emphasized that in the first 6 months of 2025, the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command of Thanh Hoa province thoroughly grasped and strictly implemented the Resolutions, directives and orders of the superiors. Firmly protected the sovereignty and security of the border areas and seas of the province. Strictly maintained the combat readiness regime, did a good job of natural disaster prevention, search and rescue. Effectively fought against all types of crimes.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Border Guard Commander requested the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command to proactively grasp, forecast, closely and accurately assess the situation, strengthen the management and protection of borders and border gates; perform well the work of border diplomacy; coordinate with local Party committees, authorities, and relevant forces to maintain political security, social order and safety in the area. Strictly maintain combat readiness regimes, develop plans to mobilize forces and means to participate in natural disaster prevention and control, rescue and relief when situations arise. Continue to effectively deploy the fight against all types of crimes. Participate in building political bases, developing local economy, culture and society.
