Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc supports Nghe An people affected by storm No. 10

This is the second time this year that Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc - Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Commander of Military Region 4, has directly supported Nghe An people affected by natural disasters.

On the morning of October 2, on the occasion of attending the Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc donated 20 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to support Nghe An people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 10.

The Lieutenant General shared that, out of a desire to share difficulties with his homeland, he spent his pension to help people stabilize their lives soon after the natural disaster.

In recent times, despite his advanced age, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc has still devoted all his heart and deep affection to his homeland. Previously, during the third storm, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc also donated 30 million VND through the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to help the locality overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province expressed his respect for the gesture of Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc, saying that this gift is a source of spiritual encouragement for people to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
