The Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society provides emergency relief in the second phase for people in flooded areas after storm No. 10.

The Vietnam Red Cross Central Committee continued to deploy the second emergency relief mission on October 2 for people in the northern and central mountainous provinces heavily affected by storm No. 10 (Bualoi) and post-storm circulation.

During this period, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross provided relief money and goods worth more than 3.42 billion VND (including goods and cash from the campaign "Joining hands to overcome floods" in coordination with the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam) to support people in the provinces of Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Lao Cai and Quang Tri.

The relief funds include cash, household goods boxes, emergency water filter powder packages and home repair kits. Specifically: Cao Bang province: VND150 million in cash; Thai Nguyen: VND150 million in cash and 100 household goods boxes; Phu Tho: VND200 million in cash and 200 household goods boxes; Tuyen Quang: VND300 million in cash, 400 household goods boxes, 48,000 P&G water filter powder packages; Lao Cai: VND300 million in cash, 200 household goods boxes, 48,000 P&G water filter powder packages, 77 home repair kits, 580 long and square tarpaulins); Quang Tri: VND200 million in cash and 497 home repair kits...

The Central Committee's working delegation will be present in Lao Cai and Tuyen Quang provinces on October 4 and 5 to visit, encourage, and deliver money and support goods to households in especially difficult circumstances that have suffered heavy damage due to storms and floods.

Thus, up to now, the total value of direct relief from the Central Association for people affected by storm No. 10 has reached over 5.5 billion VND.

The Vietnam Red Cross Society continues to promote the "Join hands to overcome floods" campaign (from September 30 to October 30, 2025), calling for the cooperation and contributions of organizations, businesses and people nationwide to support the disaster areas. Information on receiving support:
