Lam Dong supports flood victims with more than 380 tons of goods

More than 380 tons of goods, worth more than 12.5 billion VND, were transported by volunteer groups of the Lam Dong Red Cross to northern provinces and cities to support people severely affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association, presented gifts to people affected by storms No. 10 and 11.

The highest number is the Da Huoai 2 Commune Charity Convoy led by Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh with 10 vehicles carrying 200 tons of goods worth 3 billion VND.

The Social Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Lam Dong province presents gifts to people in the North Central region.

The relief team of the Provincial Red Cross in coordination with the Social Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Lam Dong province has directly gone to Ha Tinh , Nghe An, Thanh Hoa provinces and is currently giving 500 gifts (including cash and goods, worth 1.2 million VND/gift) to people in Thai Nguyen province. It is expected that in the coming days, the team will continue their journey to Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue, bringing 15 tons of goods and cash with a total value of about 1.9 billion VND, contributing to sharing the difficulties with people in the storm and flood areas.

The relief team of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Association and the Social Charity Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Lam Dong Province gave gifts to people in flood-affected areas.

Many kind-hearted people from Lam Dong have turned to their compatriots in the storm-hit areas through volunteer groups of the Provincial Red Cross Society led by Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of the Society; along with volunteer units and groups such as the Trung Hau Village Relief Vehicle Convoy (Ta Hine Commune), the Zero-Dong Clothing Club, the Understanding the Heart Volunteer Club, the Happiness Volunteer Fund, and the Good Heart Family...

The relief convoy of the Understanding the Heart Volunteer Club, Hiep Thanh Commune People, and Hoa Tam Volunteer Club brought goods to help people in the Northern provinces.

In addition, many other volunteer groups also actively participated in supporting people in storm-hit areas such as: Duc Trong Love Connection Group, Bao Loc Charity Group, Bien Cuong Love Club (Quang Truc Commune), Social Charity Committee of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Lam Dong Province and Don Duong Volunteer Group... contributing to spreading the spirit of "mutual love" and sharing difficulties with people in the North.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Minh, Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Red Cross Society, said that in addition to directly organizing relief teams to give gifts and cash to support people in storm and flood areas, many individuals and organizations also transferred donations through the Society's Humanitarian Activities Fund. As of October 22, 2025, the amount of money to support people affected by storm No. 10 transferred by the Provincial Red Cross Society to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee was 263 million VND.
