Funding awarded to build 3 Red Cross houses in Da Nang

DNO - On the afternoon of December 4, in Da Nang, a working delegation from Emulation Cluster No. 1 (including the Red Cross Societies of the cities: Hanoi, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Can Tho and Hue) visited and presented funding to support the construction of Red Cross houses for 3 households in the city.

Accordingly, the delegation awarded 60 million VND in support to Mr. Do Tat Thien's household (residing in Thanh Khe ward), a household in particularly difficult circumstances, with a dilapidated old house and 11 people living there.

In addition, the Hai Phong City Red Cross Society provided support to build two Red Cross houses (each worth 60 million VND) for Mr. Mai Phuoc Huong's household and Mrs. Diep Thi Quy Men's household (Hai Van ward) - both households are in difficult circumstances.

It is known that in 2025, the Red Cross at all levels under Emulation Cluster No. 1 mobilized over 1.54 million gifts (total value of over 732 billion VND) to support the poor, near-poor and vulnerable groups; disaster prevention and response work reached a value of over 81 billion VND, supporting over 89,600 people.

In addition, many models of supporting fishermen, communication to reduce natural disaster risks, and emergency relief for storms and floods were promptly and effectively deployed by the Red Cross chapters at all levels of Emulation Cluster No. 1...
