Accordingly, the Party Central Committee gave opinions on personnel so that the Politburo could decide to introduce the XV National Assembly to elect the following positions: Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office, Head of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the National Assembly's Delegation Work Committee and approve the following positions: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Home Affairs .

Previously, Mr. Le Quang Tung, Secretary General and Head of the Office of the National Assembly, was assigned by the Politburo to be the Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Le Quang Manh, member of the Party Central Committee and Permanent Deputy Head of the Economic and Financial Committee, is being assigned to be in charge of the Office of the National Assembly and perform the duties of Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the Office of the National Assembly until the position of Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the Office of the National Assembly is completed.

Meanwhile, on September 29, the National Assembly Standing Committee agreed to allow Mr. Le Quang Huy, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the Science , Technology and Environment Committee of the 15th National Assembly, to retire from work from October 1, 2025, according to his personal wishes.

At the conference, the Party Central Committee also agreed to let Mr. Le Quang Huy resign from his position as member of the 13th Party Central Committee.

Currently, the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment is being assigned by the National Assembly Standing Committee to Mr. Le Minh Hoan, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, to be in charge of, direct and operate its activities until the position of Chairman of the Committee on Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th National Assembly is completed.

Regarding the positions of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Home Affairs, on August 29, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a decision to accept Mr. Le Hoai Trung, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office to work at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, handing over the authority of Minister of Foreign Affairs. This is a position approved by the National Assembly, so the personnel must be approved at the upcoming 10th session of the 15th National Assembly.

With the title of Minister of Home Affairs, the current Minister is Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra. Ms. Tra has held this position since 2021.
